If you have been the booth with your kids, you are probably familiar with my sticker bowl and how every kiddo gets to pick one out for free. It is safe to say I have a healthy obsession with stickers and every year I spread that obnoxious craze with all of you ๐Ÿ˜… This year, Sage & Honeyโ€™s swag bag theme is books, bees, and bread! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿฅ–

I had a bit of a dental emergency (cracked filling turned infection ow ๐Ÿฆท) so I will not be making it to HFM this weekend ๐Ÿฅบ My deepest apologies to all my regulars who have been missinโ€™ us the last two markets, but I have a very unexpected and unpleasant date with my dentist tomorrow afternoon.. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

the older I get, late august seems to carry a special type of nostalgia.

the summer garden reaching for its final push before surrendering to the soil. chickens digging up the chilly morning soil for fresh grubs. reaching for a sweater in the morning and a tshirt in the afternoon. warm cups of coffee and barefeet. the busyness of the bees. my childrenโ€™s laughter in the backyard, soup on the stove.

there is a feeling of gathering, yet a peace of learning to be patient.
an inbetween, perhaps.

Iโ€™ve been a little quiet on here lately, but all is well ๐Ÿ’› adjusting to new rhythms, soaking up the last bits of summer with our littles, taking time to hear Godโ€™s voice clearly, and just being present.

sometimes I am so focused on the โ€œnext thingโ€ I forget I am quite literally living and breathing a reality I onced hit my knees and prayed for. there is so much beauty in having ambition, in the intensity of building your dreams with grit and perseverance. I am a salt of the earth type of woman. a hard lesson for me at times is one that shows me rest and presence are equally as important.

I am looking forward to next month, all the exciting ideas I have for s&h, and our autumnal specials coming to life ๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿ‚
