Dark Chocolate Oat Tahini ✨

My personal favorite from the spring menu: a substantial, chewy, toasted oat and hazelnut cookie topped with a piece of melt-in-your mouth sesame halva. Creamy, almost savory tahini is nicely balanced by the brightness of the orange zest and the snap of an elegant dark chocolate drizzle. So much depth of flavor and texture packed into one bite.

This Saturday, March 21, I will have a table at Run the World event celebrating Women’s Month. It’s only fitting that my sister will be visiting from out of town (and graciously helping me with my booth) on the day we celebrate the powerhouse women in our lives 💗 Stop by for a beer (and a cookie!), listen to some female bands, and browse the vendor market consisting of all women-owned businesses. We’ll see you there!

🍪 Menu selection includes: banana espresso chip (one of my personal favorites), blueberry sweet corn, carrot cake oatmeal raisin, and cashew caramel.

Presenting, the Potato cookie!, a vanilla snickerdoodle cookie filled with toasted coconut and — yes, you guessed it — mashed potatoes. It is rolled in sugar, cocoa powder, and cinnamon before baking to give that distinctive “dirt” coating. The filling is fluffy and tender and crumbles just like a baked potato.

This cookie may be the most wonderful and most cursed thing I have ever made. I love it so much. I hope you do too.

Market season commences this weekend, at Tir na Nog Celtic Festival. I will be featuring the following flavors, plus a couple of surprises to be revealed later this week 😋

🐻 DOUBLE CHOCOLATE STOUT [a chocolate lover’s dream, made with Guinness caramel, dark and semisweet chocolate, and three kinds of cocoa powder]

☕️ IRISH CREAM CHOCOLATE CHIP [a thick, soft, and chewy chocolate chip cookie, with warming notes of espresso, cinnamon, and whiskey and topped with flaky sea salt]

🌾 IRISH OAT WITH WHISKEY RAISINS [this cookie combines the chewy crumb and toasty, nutty flavor of traditional Irish oats with Jameson-soaked raisins]

Come for the vendor market, good food and brews, and stay for live music later in the evening! It’s sure to be a fun day ☘️
