🥖 Tuesday Tip: Stock Up & Freeze!

Since Gathered Goods will be closed next Saturday, this is your sign to grab that extra loaf! 😉

Did you know sourdough freezes beautifully?

For a whole loaf:
• Wrap it well or place in a freezer bag
• Press out as much air as possible
• Label with the date
• Pull out of freezer and leave to defrost

For sliced bread:
• Slice before freezing so you can grab just what you need
• Place slices in a freezer bag
• Remove as much air as possible

When you're ready to eat it, pull out what you need and toast or warm gently for that fresh-baked taste. 🤎

So go ahead… buy the extra loaf. Future-you will be glad you did. 😂🥖

🌧️ Farmstand Update! 🌧️

Well, you guys took the rain seriously! 😂🤎 We had such a great morning at the stand, and so many of you came out and stocked up on your Gathered Goods goodies. Thank you, thank you!

The rain has officially arrived, so we've closed up for the day.

But don't worry—we'll be back at it tomorrow, we will be opening the farmstand around 3 PM, depending on the weather. I’ll keep you posted!

BUT… I’ll also be heading into Sturgis tomorrow and would be happy to bring orders with me! 🙌🏻

If you'd like to claim something, send me a message with your order and we’ll arrange a pickup in Sturgis.

🥹 A LITTLE SIGN OF GROWTH AROUND HERE…

We officially bought a SECOND refrigerator for Gathered Goods! 🥖🤎

And no, it's not because we needed another place to hide snacks. 😂 It’s actually going to be dedicated to dough, dough, and more dough!

When I started this little farmstand, I never imagined I'd reach the point where my regular kitchen refrigerator wasn't enough space for all the baking. What a GOOD problem to have. 🥹

Every loaf you buy, every jar of jam, every English muffin, every sweet roll, every share, like, comment, and recommendation has helped this little business grow.

So this refrigerator might seem like a small thing… but to me, it's a pretty big reminder that Gathered Goods is growing. 🌿

Thank you for believing in this little dream, supporting local, and allowing me to keep baking more of the things you love.

Here's to more dough, more goodies, and whatever God has next for Gathered Goods. 🤎🥖🌾
