Okay, so I know it's been a minute since I've posted and you might be thinking "Oh, she doesn't do cookies anymore" BUT SURPRISE! I'm still here even though I've cut back dramatically on my orders and obviously social media posts! Last year blew my mind with how many people supported me and I burnt out a bit there at the end. So I took a pause and focused heavily on my spiritual, physical and mental health. I'm still doing that, but am taking orders so reach out if you want to know more!

I was SO happy to make this Movie Matinee themed cookies for my dear friend Chris' 60th birthday! This cookie journey has taken me on quite a growing path, and Chris and Susan have been supporting me behind the scenes. They've opened their hearts, home, and kitchen more than once! Happy (late) birthday! I'm so thankful for you both!!🥰

Notice: Late Valentine's Day cookie post ahead

1 year ago (yesterday) I made my first ever Decorated Sugar Cookies!
1 year later I made hearts again and am so happy to see how much my skillset have grown!

Let me know what your thoughts are!! I absolutely love the ice cream hearts! The berry cookies were egg free, so I used buttercream (will have to learn how to use that better this year) 😊

Hey friends! I've been crazy M.I.A. these last two months because I had the amazing opportunity to visit my family in South Africa for 7 weeks!!!! It was awesome and challenging (being away from my home, things, and patterns), but probably one of the only chances I'll ever have to visit for so long. We experienced so much and got to celebrate 🍾 my brother getting married! Christmas and New Year's with the family, meeting aunts & uncles, safaris, beaches, playgrounds, and making friends even with language barriers! It gave us all a break from the hustle of Northern Virginia and reminded us how important time away is.

With that said - we are back, we are settled, and I am in full swing taking orders for all and any events! I look forward to a year of beautiful and delicious cookies!!! 🍪🍪🍪
