After a lot of prayer and excitement (and a few tears), I've made the decision to officially close Sourdough by Katerina at the end of August.

Our family is stepping into a brand-new adventure as we prepare to transition to full-time camper living this fall. As excited as we are for what's ahead, it also means it's time for me to close this sweet chapter of my life.

What started as a simple love for baking turned into something I never could have imagined. It brought me friendships, conversations around farmers markets and wineries, loyal customers who became friends, and the privilege of serving this wonderful community one loaf at a time.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Thank you to every person who placed an order, shared a post, told a friend, stopped by my booth, or encouraged me along the way. You made this little dream possible, and I will always be grateful.

I'll continue taking and fulfilling orders through the end of August, so there's still time to enjoy your favorite loaves, bagels, cinnamon rolls, and other baked goodies before I hang up my apron.

While it's bittersweet to say goodbye, I'm incredibly excited to see what the Lord has in store for our family in this next season.

Thank you for being part of this journey. It has truly been a blessing. ❤️🍞

Sometimes the simplest bakes are the prettiest. 🍋

This sourdough lemon bundt cake came together so easily, but adding a lemon glaze and fresh pansies from the garden made it feel bakery-worthy. ✨

My first sourdough croissant class is officially done 🥐🤍
And wow… what a sweet, messy, joy-filled morning.
Thank you to everyone who came, learned, laughed, and baked alongside me. It truly meant so much.
