🍎 A little back-to-school giveaway! 🍎

With school starting soon, I’ve been thinking about all of the people who make such a difference in our kids’ lives. Of course, our teachers deserve so much appreciation, but there are so many others who play an important role too… bus drivers, secretaries, custodians, aides, principals, cafeteria workers, maintenance staff and so many more.

So, I thought it would be fun to give away a dozen of these apple sugar cookies to someone who has made a difference in a student’s life. ❤️

I’d love for you to nominate someone who is or was involved in our school system. It can be a teacher, bus driver, custodian, secretary, aide, principal, cafeteria worker, maintenance worker… anyone who you feel deserves a little extra recognition.

To nominate someone, just leave their name in the comments and tell me in one paragraph how they impacted your life when you were a student.

Maybe they encouraged you when you were having a hard time. Maybe they believed in you when you needed someone to believe in you. Maybe they made you feel special, safe or just made your school days a little brighter. I’d LOVE to hear your stories. ❤️

I’ll choose a winner and announce them on Friday, August 21st!

The winner can pick up their cookies, or I’d be happy to deliver them if they are within 10 miles of my home.

I think sometimes the people who make the biggest impact on us never realize just how much they meant to us. So let’s take a little time to recognize someone who made a difference. 🍎❤️

WOW!

I had the great pleasure to judge the 2026 pie contest at the Mercer County Fairgrounds-Celina, Ohio!

The theme was Apple
Pie. There were over 25 pies to judge. And it was HAAARRDDD to choose. They were all amazing and delicious!! I narrowed it down to 2 pies and that in and of itself was tough as it was evident that we have some amazing bakers in our county.

The ladies that won both had very touching stories as to who they were baking for. It made my heart content knowing they were meant to win. 🥰

Congratulations to them both!

What a fun set to compete! A Storybook baby shower gave me lots of inspiration in making these cookies for the sweetest couple!
