With the recent passing of Dolly Parton, we couldn’t think of a better time to honor a woman who was so much more than a country music icon. She was a storyteller, a philanthropist, a businesswoman, and a true legend whose kindness and generosity touched generations.

So this week, we’re putting a little Dolly sweetness on display. 💕🎶

Did you know Granny’s Bakery does HOA events?! 💕 We love taking the sweetness beyond the bakery and creating fun, memorable experiences for the community!

This week, I had the opportunity to host a cupcake decorating class for 40 people at Union Park! 🎨🧁 From setting up all the frosting colors to getting every decorating station ready, it was so much fun watching everyone get creative.

Whether it’s a cupcake decorating class, private event, or something totally unique, I’d love to bring Granny’s to your next HOA event! 💗

Celina Restaurant Week officially kicks off tomorrow, but we couldn’t wait to start giving back! 🥰

From now through September 5th, Granny’s is participating in a Round Up Campaign benefiting Grace Bridge Food Bank. Every little bit adds up, and together, we can help support our neighbors facing food insecurity right here in our community. 💙

Today is your birthday, Granny. 🤍

And somehow, 12 years after you passed away, I got to stand in front of about 100 women today and tell them my story — a story that wouldn’t be the same without you.

I got to share how you inspired me, how your love for baking and serving others became a part of who I am, and how your legacy continues to live on through Granny’s every single day. 🥹🤍

And because I know you would’ve been right there enjoying every second of it… I got to eat cheesecake today, too — your favorite. 🧀🍰

It’s crazy to think that 12 years have passed, yet somehow you still show up in my life in so many ways. In the recipes, in the bakery, in the people we serve, and in every person who walks through Granny’s doors.

I hope you would be proud of what your little kitchen and your love for baking inspired. I know I am so lucky to carry a piece of you with me every day.
