Not the fanciest of updates, but we are working on making this an aesthetically pleasing experience for us and our customers. This being said, dishes have become the bane of our existence. Customers don’t know what to do with them. While they are trying to be helpful, they are cluttering up our small pastry counter, cashier station, and pickup station by bussing their own tables.

So we sat down and spent longer than we would like to admit, finding a solution that is both cute and functional. Here is the new bussing station. New to go item table coming soon 👀

While we are closed on Mother’s Day to be with our families, we will be open Saturday with a full lineup of delectable pastries, fabulous breads, and of course gifts. We have a well stocked selection of new books, candles, teas, tote bags, unique cards, and gift cards to round out your Mother’s Day gifts.

Good afternoon! I would like to take some time to address the gluten free questions we have been getting.

Due to the limited space in our new facilities, we can no longer offer gluten free baked goods. The risk for cross contamination is too great, and this is not a risk we are willing to take. We do not have the space for dedicated gluten free appliance, utensils, or work surfaces, and your health matters too much to take that gamble. I know this may upset many patrons, but safety is of the utmost importance.

For customers who have a mild intolerance but are not celiac we may be able to accommodate you on a case-by-case basis. Thank you for your understanding, and we are truly sorry for the disappointment.

✨Attention community members, we will be closed on Mother’s Day this year. There are several great options in town running specials this year, so please check them out and support our local business community as much as possible ✨

We will be open Saturday with loads of sweets to treat your Mama to, so come in and see the girls for some heart felt gifts. We have greeting cards, new and used books, and candles that accompany any pastry box quite marvelously 💕

✨ We’re OPEN again, Cedaredge! ✨

On May Day (Friday, May 1st), our community gathered outside the new location of Sugar Mama's Bakeshop & Café to celebrate something really special 💛

With the sidewalk full of smiling faces, incredible pastries inside, and the kind of love only a small town can bring… we welcomed this sweet space back to Main Street.

Led by the Grand Mesa Business Guild, with a heartfelt blessing from Kaewyn Picard, Tanquerae and her son Declan cut the 🌈 ribbon at 11:11 to cheers, laughter, and a whole lot of excitement.

This isn’t just a reopening — it’s a celebration of community, resilience, and a bakery that means so much to so many.

We’re so happy to be back. 🧁

Due to injury we will be closing at 1pm today. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I can’t use my left hand to grip or carry and I cannot submerge in water. It was a small cut, but deep enough I’m lucky to not have nerve damage. Believe me, I’m not enjoying this either.
