AMAZING energy here at NewBo City Market today with the double whammy of the Cedar Rapids Farmer's Market and Women's Fest! Come check out all our terrific vendor friends and stop by for some macarons while you're here 😁

I've changed up the stormy clouds... they are now oreo and UBE flavor, which I actually like even better than matcha! ⛈️

I was asked to do a purple and green macaron this week, so I went Asian this week and blended ube and pandan batters together. Inside is a swirl of ube and pandan buttercream along with a guava preserves center. If you're unfamiliar with these flavors, definitely give them a try! Ube has a profile similar to vanilla with a nutty flavor. Pandan is also vanilla-esque with a bright, fresh aftertaste. The guava preserves are caramelly and fruity and pair well with the pandan-ube blend!

I'll have a limited number of these today at NewBo City Market, so come give them a try! 😁
