My final two projects…. I’ve made the decision to go back to work full time. That said: I will not be taking anymore orders. I want to thank everyone for your support of my little baking business. The themes for these last two cake are: friendship and Pokémon birthday fun! The friendship cake is a 6” chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. Sprinkles and macarons add the perfect detail for this cake. To celebrate Nate’s birthday, mom and dad chose an 8” red velvet cake, cream cheese icing filling surrounded by American buttercream. Fun Pokémon decor, candy pops and M&Ms create a fun and colorful cake for todays celebration. boss

This might be my favorite cake. Four layers of vanilla cake, raspberry filling between all of the layers and covered in vanilla buttercream in 2 shades of pink. A request for it to sparkle calls for sanding sugar and edible glitter/shimmer. Happy 21st! I hope your birthday was as fun as this cake!

Last week’s cakes were all about kids birthdays. First up was the Cookie Monster cake. This cake featured 2 layers of chocolate cake, chocolate ganache filling and vanilla buttercream. Of course, we can’t forget the cookies. The second cake was a new one for me. I had no idea who Kirby was but what Mason wants, Mason gets. Three layers of vanilla cake filled and frosted with vanilla buttercream for the family that loves buttercream. Happy birthday to both kiddos. I received a request for a special boy whose mama has been taking him to therapy for his extensive food allergies. They are still working through some allergens but it was a pleasure for me to provide his very first birthday cake in dairy free form. This 8” cake includes 4 layers of dairy free chocolate cake covered in dairy free vanilla buttercream. Happy birthday Lorenzo! Your mama sure does love you!

Wedding cakes are quickly becoming my favorite. Congratulations to the happy couple. I hope that this double barrel tiered vanilla cake provides a touch of sweetness to your day filled with love. I love a good trend but this one gave me a run for my money. I may have lost that battle but I think this one wins the war!

10” vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream and fresh strawberries between each layer makes a great springy combo for the base of this comic inspired birthday cake.

Happy birthday to the girl that loves the Addams Family. This 6” cake has a layer of chocolate cake, a layer of vanilla cake and whipped cream filling and icing. I think Wednesday would approve.

The mama of this special boy wanted a simple clean-ish birthday cake for her son’s construction themed cake. Scroll to see the cute stuff she added to the cake. I love being part of special celebrations as these.
This cake contains two layers of chocolate cake with vanilla American buttercream filling and a semi-naked finish with crushed Graham cracker “sand”. Are you celebrating something special? PM me for a quote!!
