Sad, I learned that a customer service employee was literally yelled at this morning because we did not offer venmo or pay pal. The current system doesn't allow it. Another system will soon be in place.

I just wanted to remind the few....

1. Small businesses like ours are truly having a difficult time finding good people who want to show up.

2. Most small businesses have not raised their prices because the owners care..even though paying employees higher wages, paying almost double food costs...all while trying to keep the doors open while struggling to pay the bills.

3. Owners and family members have been working 70+ hours a week just to help serve and have also endured customers rude and entitled behavior.

3. Kindness and respect is free.

4. To the man who did this to one of the sweetest young ladies I know...if you can't be respectful, please do not return.

Responsible for start up production of dough and kolaches. Must be able to work from 2:30 am - 10:30 am, 6- days a week. Starting pay at $12.00 p/hr with overtime. Must be Food Handler Certified. Must apply in person at 800 W. Whitestone location.

Serve customers in both front counter and drive-thru. Maintain cleanliness throughout store. Must have Food Handler Certification prior to employment. Start pay $10.00 p/hour
Availability is from 5am-3pm

Assist in baking and production of dough products and bake goods. Must be responsible and works well with others. Shifts start at 2:30 am, works 6-days a week and overtime paid.

Got a 1-star review today after a customer came by and found out we had closed at 4:11pm when our hours of operation go til 5:00pm. My apologies for the closing early. It got to the point to where we had no donuts or kolaches after 3:30 pm, and I made the decision to close early. It happens at times folks. My cooks come to work at 2:30 am and today they left at 11:00 am. I thought we made enough to get us to 5:00 pm and I guessed wrong. Normally, I throw away 15-20 dozen donuts, but not today.
1-star for either closing early, or not having a donut in a donut shop.
We try to please, but I sometimes “drop the ball.”
