WHY do we call ourselves the "ugly cake" company? No one here has any formal training in cake decorating. We pipe buttercream and that's about it. You won't get the royal icing lace or the chandelier-looking cake from us. What you get will be rustic, authentic, and the best damn treat you've ever tasted. We make:
Cakes for any occasion
Cookies by the dozen
Cupcakes and muffins by the dozen
Coffee
cakes, pound cakes, & flavored breads
And a variety of pickles and canned fruit & pie fillings
We can also make most recipes vegan or vegetarian on request, and have some select gluten-free recipes as well. We are a COTTAGE BAKERY. This means we can't sell cheesecakes or anything that needs to be refrigerated. (Fortunately, that list is minimal!)
Everything we make is homemade. We make all the batters, doughs, and fillings ourselves. We de-seed the berry fillings by hand. We scoop out the cookies and decorate them individually. There's not even an assembly line. It's just two people making the treats you love and hoping to bring some joy to your day!
