I’m sad to announce that Gateau will be closing as of May 1st. I’m not going to say forever, but I’m not going to build false hopes either.
After my mom died, Gateau battled financial set back due to the time off. As I was rebuilding, my physical health took a deep turn. After nearly 6 months, I’m still battling rebuilding my health which has not allowed me to give 100 percent to Gateau. I still have some medical things I must immediately give attention to at the moment which also requires me to seek income stability as well!
This industry requires a hustle I physically do not have the strength for at the moment. And with more medical procedures to come, it’s taken lots of prayers and humility to know when it’s time to close the doors to Gateau.
I truly hope this is temporary. Gateau is so close to my heart. But if not, don’t forget the smiles she put on your faces and the extra notch in your belts!!! 🥹🥹😁😁😁
Thank you all so very much for all of your love and support these last past 4 years! I will never forget it! And who knows, a Gateau recipe book just might appear!!!
