Every donut tastes a little sweeter when it gives back. Today, we’re donating 10% of our donut sales to a local military charity in honor of the heroes who inspire National Donut Day.

This image full of military logos makes my eyes glisten a little. Individually, each store is making an impact in its own community. Collectively, it’s amazing to see what the entire Hurts Donut family can accomplish together. 10% of donut sales at every location will benefit a local organization!

National Donut Day gives us another opportunity to honor the spirit of why this holiday exists in the first place: serving those who have served others.

What started as a day created to honor the “Donut Lassies” who served troops during World War I has grown into something much bigger. Every Hurts location has chosen a military or veteran-focused charity, and together we’re supporting organizations that serve veterans, active-duty military members, service dogs, wounded warriors, military families, and so many others.

To every customer who chooses Hurts Donut on Friday, thank you. Every donut purchased helps support a cause that matters.

It’s pretty incredible what can happen when a whole lot of people decide that donuts can make someone’s day a little sweeter.
