These might seem odd, but here are the rules I’ve created for myself since I decided I was done letting ONE income stream control my peace, my schedule, and my income:
I never say yes to an order or event just because I feel panicked about money
→ If my calendar is full, I lean into one of my other offers to fill the gap. That’s the whole point.
I prep like a storefront, even when I’m not at the storefront
→ No more throwing stuff together. This is big business and we’re treating it like that.
I make at least 3 non-negotiable CEO goals each month
→ Even if it’s just getting something done that’s been on the to-do list forever, I am making sure to set aside time to work ON the business, not just IN the business.
I plan income like I plan a recipe
→ I don’t just guess my next move, I measure what I need, what’s worked, and build my business intentionally.
I don’t work without a backup
→ If a snowstorm knocks out power at the storefront, or catering orders fall through, I’ve got something else ready to promote. Always.
Comment “BOOST” and I’ll send you the exact methods I use to build multiple income streams in my baking business (without burning out).
