We had a cake order at school today, a simple 6 in vanilla cake, white buttercream, and a blue 1 on top. That is a part of SkillsUSA competition so it only made sense to use it as practice. So I wrote it out in a cake order form and my student went to work. Walking her through each step and explaining why each step happens and little tricks may be my favorite new thing about cake making.
