Looking towards Albany, in Savannah, NY; the tracks parallel the Erie Canal. Empty on our way up North for the day; a long line of cars stopped & silent on our way home yesterday, and zoom reveals uh-oh🫢

Ride up to Lake Ontario to have lunch at Rudy’s Lakeside Drive-In. Stop at a couple of shops in Fair Haven. Captured some country scenery, including baby Black Angus to match the blacked-out portions & leather on my Harley. Finished at Trimmers Ice Cream. 188 miles of mostly backroad twisties & sweeps.

Went to Calvacade of Cars & Motorcycles at the N.Y.S. Fairgrounds’ Expo Center on 4/18. Liked a few customized Bikes. The multi-pictured one is a build to honor his brother and police officer that died of cancer; the builder actually used some of the officer’s equipment to adorn the Bike. Met a State Trooper, Greg that rides a Harley, but only in parades & as Es**rt for special occasions; patrol Bikes no longer exist in the N.Y.S. Police. A good friend rode a Harley on patrol in the Ithaca Police Dept. in the ‘70’s, ‘80’s & ‘90’s.

Decided to take a 60-mile run to Bishop’s in PA for lunch, yesterday. The late Bob Spaulding introduced me to Bishop’s after we rode to Forksville Covered Bridge. Seen many Bikes out; 70 to 72°. Rode backroads & twisties as much as possible.

Wife can no longer ride, so we went for a Ride & Drive together today (she took the video). Rained the last few days. Out for almost 3 hours. Surprised once on a curve w/ a little tail-wagging; slowed down on curves🙄. 37°; caught a little rain & tiny snow-balls maybe 5 mins on the way home. Heated gear is great. Got a spring in my step, back😬— that Ride was greatly needed.😎🏍️
