Brian will be putting the last of the watermelons in the stand in the morning!!! We will have red seeded and red seedless!!!

We can not thank each of you enough for all the support this year!!! Our season started so very unsure and quite frankly scary for our family!!! But we asked for prayers and those prayers were felt in a tremendous way!!! Our season ended on a better note and we know that is because of the prayers of all of you!!! We can’t thank you enough for all the patience and understanding throughout the season!!!

Thank you again for all the support and we will see yall next year!!!

Today the kid that most of you have watched grow from summer to summer turns 18!!! Happy Birthday Bricen!!!

So today the stand is stocked with melons but it will be self serve so that we can go celebrate our boy!!! We have a money box on the desk or we have our Cash App QR code there to scan!!! Thank you everyone for understanding and your continued support!!!

Now a little story about the picture. The day Brian and I were bringing Bricen home from the hospital the guys that worked for us called and said we had to bring him by the watermelon stand because they had a surprise!!! Well Derek Bell , Brandon West and Brice West had worked all morning scraping all the meat out of this melon leaving only the rind cause they wanted a picture with Brian holding Bricen in a melon. He really has been in melons his entire life.

This afternoon Bricen was honored by receiving the Young Farmers Scholarship given out every year by the Cave City Watermelon Festival committee.

Our family can not thank the committee enough for choosing Bricen for this honor.

As many of you know Bricen has been apart of the watermelons since before he was born and many of our customers have watched him grow up into the guy he is today. We may be a little biased but his mom and I think he is pretty great. He turns 18 in a a couple of weeks and graduates high school this coming year!!!

Again we just want to thank the committee for recognizing him today and putting together an awesome festival this year!!!

And thank you to our customers for a great festival weekend!!!

It’s Watermelon Festival weekend!!! We are ready to see everyone!!!!
