This weekend, we experienced an unfortunate incident in our store that crossed a line that we have not encountered to this extent before. While we always strive to provide a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone, we want to be clear about one thing: disrespectful, aggressive, or abusive behavior toward our customers or staff will not be tolerated.

Our team has our full support and authority to ask anyone to leave if their behavior is inappropriate or disruptive. We value and appreciate our customers, and we are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. However, that environment depends on mutual respect, and we will not compromise on that standard.

Here’s a simple rule to remember: If you wouldn’t speak to your own momma that way, don’t speak to our staff or fellow customers that way. If you’re too upset to communicate respectfully, step outside, take a breath, and return when you’re ready to treat others with the courtesy they deserve.

Respect is not optional. It is the standard. ✌️

Dearest Catonsville Sunday Farmers Market friends,

We have been paying close attention to the weather for Sunday and had to make a tough call… earlier than we wanted to as our sourdoughs are a 3 day process.

We have always come to market rain or shine, even in frigid temps and extreme heat. However, the last time a hurricane storm came at us during a market, and we went anyway, I wished I had made a different call. So we are going to sit this one out.

Sustained winds at 20mph and gusts up to 35mph is not a fun tent to manage, especially with nonstop rain. Of course now that we have made the tough call, we will likely enjoy a beautiful day!

THE STORE WILL BE OPEN! Please come see us and get your favorite bread at our Catonsville Store:
