We’re out here getting everything ready for the picnic tomorrow. The more I keep looking at this forecast tomorrow it improves a little bit. Today was supposed to be horribly hot and humid and out here at the Rock Church we are enjoying a partly cloudy day with a little cool breeze. Yeah it’s hot but hey, it’s August.

Praying we have a wonderful day and hoping to see everyone tomorrow at the St. Patrick’s Old Rock Church Picnic!!

Mass is at 11 and we start serving chicken at 1130.

I can’t believe how beautiful it is today. And the temperature in August is unbelievable. It looks like a great day to go out to St Mary’s Picnic and have some fried chicken.

Memorial Day Mass turned out to be a wonderful celebration. We were very fortunate to have Archbishop Rozanski and Fr. Nord celebrate Mass with us and we had a wonderful turnout. Every year I enjoy seeing the start of summer with this long standing tradition and this year was no different.

I am grateful to all the volunteers who work hard all year long to keep St. Patrick’s Old Rock Church looking so great. Thanks to everyone who did their part to make it such a nice day.

Yesterday was extremely cold. Actually the coldest I’ve ever seen at mass on St. Patrick’s Day. But in spite of the cold we had a nice crowd show up to celebrate with us and support our efforts in preserving the Rock Church!! It was a great day and I want to thank Fr. Nord for bearing the cold and celebrating mass for us. It was a wonderful day!

Thank to all those who made this day a success !!!
