In addition to eggs, I have a few 2026 wall calendars left. All of the pictures are ones that I've taken - 13 pictures of Cardinals.
Also, I'll have FREE coloring sheets for the kids - a chicken holding a heart, especially for Valentines Day.
Market is open tomorrow from 10 AM til 12 Noon.

I'm looking forward to the Salem Farmers Market tomorrow...and the much nicer weather...sunny and mid 40's--50. Get out and enjoy!
My hens have been producing lots of eggs even in the cold, so I'll have a great supply. Since tomorrow is Valentine's Day, plan to bake something special for your special person - something with lots of eggs! Homemade is much better than store-bought.
SPECIAL NOTICE - I will not be at the Market next Saturday, the 21st...so stock up this Saturday. Eggs keep for several weeks in the refrigerator.

This Chicken Hat Lady is going to "Chicken out" this week...I won't be at Salem Farmers Market on Saturday. Been out in the cold enough, taking care of the chickens.
Just a reminder that my eggs will keep for several weeks after purchase...so plan to stock up in the future, before more weather comes along.

IF snow hasn't started by 9AM tomorrow, I'll be at Salem Farmers Market with my farm-fresh, hand-gathered eggs. I'll be there by 10 and plan to stay until 12 - or until sold out or snow begins.
If already snowing and I'm not coming, I'll update here on Facebook.
Stock up on eggs - great to have on hand, especially in case of power outage...boil some ahead of time, eat as is, slice or make egg salad for sandwiches, etc.

I plan to be at the Salem Farmers Market on Saturday - weather looks to be cloudy and in high 30's, mid 40's, not much wind.
ANNOUNCEMENT - Price on my wall calendars has been reduced to $15.00 (includes sales tax). Each calendar includes 13 of MY photos of Cardinals here in my yard.
I'll also have notecards (again, with MY photos) and large pictures - some framed in handmade barnwood, and some printed on canvas (most without frames but ready to hang).
AND, my hens are mostly disregarding the cold weather and are producing lots of eggs. If you'll be baking for the holidays, now is the time to stock up on fresh eggs.

Here are some fun facts about chickens and their eggs:

Chickens can remember more than one hundred faces — both human and animal! 🐔

My hens are enjoying cooler temperatures, resulting in lots of fresh eggs. Get yours on Saturday at the Salem Farmers Market - I'll be in Space 11 from 8 until 12...or until I'm sold out.
Especially for kids, I have a coloring sheet for them - featuring a hen on a nest of eggs. These are free, just something that kids can get at the Market. I also have chicken stickers - I love to see the smiles when I hand one to the kids!

It's the last weekend of the summer and our regular Saturday market is back after Olde Salem Days with a full vendor lineup. While the seasons may change, the Salem Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8 am to noon through the holidays.

Artisans: applications for our Christmas Market on December 6th will be available early next week and our final Artisan Market of the season is next Friday
