This year my son wanted something different to give his teacher. I suggest a cookie cake. He wanted something cute on it and we decided this was it. Its fun to work with my little guy. He truly does appreciate his teachers and I love that.

Celebrating May 4th is a tradition in our household, and this year I decided to mix things up by making a square cake. While it was tricky to get the corners right, I kept the rest of the cake simple and focused on my son's favorite character. I'm excited to continue this tradition and enjoy the unique look of the cake.
