Tomorrow, I’ll be at the 11th Annual Holistic Mystic Faire at OM Shanti Yoga & Healing Arts!

I’ve been busy baking up some delicious sourdough for this event, complete with a little extra Halloween magic! Think ghosts, spiderwebs, pumpkins, celestial designs, and even a little pink fairy dust! ✨

There are still loafs of sourdough out in the farm stand today, and I’d much rather see it go home with you than go to waste!

Everything is packaged up and ready to go! 🙌 As promised, today’s imperfect loaves are $2 OFF!!! Same delicious sourdough, just a little wider and flatter than usual. 🤪

Here’s what I’ve got:

🍕 3 Pizza — $12 each
🌶️ 2 Jalapeño Cheddar — $10 each
🧀 4 Parmesan & Black Pepper — $10 each

Unfortunately, I won’t be making it to today’s event. I had a few too many bread mishaps (amongst a few other things 😅), and sometimes you just have to know when to call it!

The good news is that some of those mishaps mean discounted sourdough in the farm stand today! 🙌

I’ll have a handful of over proofed loaves available at a discounted price. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them .. over proofing just means they spread a little more during baking, so they’re a bit wider and flatter instead of my usual round, tall loaves. Same sourdough, same ingredients, just not quite as pretty as I like them to be. 😂

As soon as everything is cooled, packaged, and in the stand, I’ll post exactly what’s available & discounted pricing!

🎀 BREAKING BREAD IS GOING PINK! 🎀

This Monday, Breaking Bread will be at the 8th Annual LaChance Men Wear Pink Golf Tournament at Normanside Country Club, and we’re giving our bread a little makeover for the occasion! 🩷🍞

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 10% of proceeds from our sales at the event will be donated to the American Cancer Society in support of the fight against breast cancer.

And because regular ol’ plain sourdough just wouldn’t do for this one… ALL of our classic sourdough is going PINK! 🎀

🩷 Pretty in Pink — our classic sourdough turned completely pink with dragon fruit powder. Same sourdough you know and love, just much prettier.

💕 Pink Marble — our classic sourdough marbled with beautiful swirls of pink and white. Each loaf will be completely unique!

And don’t worry… the dragon fruit powder is there for that gorgeous color, not to turn your bread fruity. These are still our classic sourdough loaves!

We’ll also be bringing TWO different Flight Boxes, each featuring four mini sourdough flavors, so you can try a little bit of everything. 🙌

And the table definitely won’t stop there! Keep an eye out for Cheddar Bacon, Everything, Pizza, Jalapeño Cheddar and a few more Breaking Bread favorites.

🎀 A little heads-up: prices at this event will be a couple dollars higher than our usual pricing, allowing us to donate 10% of proceeds from every purchase to the American Cancer Society.

🚨 CHEDDAR BACON DELAYED — HOPEFULLY DROPPING AROUND 3 PM! 🥓🧀

Quick farm stand update so nobody makes the trip at 2 PM specifically for Cheddar Bacon! 🤎

I got a little too excited this morning and decided we needed PUMPKIN SHAPED PLAIN SOURDOUGH 🎃🍞… which mayyyy have thrown off my baking schedule a bit. 😂

So here’s the updated plan:

🎃 Pumpkin Shaped Plain Sourdough — ready at 2 PM
🧀 Parmesan & Black Pepper — ready at 2 PM
🥓 *SOLD OUT* Cheddar Bacon — running behind and hopefully hitting the stand around 3 PM!

Tomorrow starting at 2 PM, the farm stand will have a LIMITED number of fresh sourdough loaves:

Whatever doesn’t sell tomorrow will be back out at the stand Wednesday morning!

ALSO!!! I finally updated the preorder form to include all of the loaves I’ve offered this season, so you can now preorder your favorites! 🙌
