🎉 Great News!!! 🎉

Gluten Free Sugar Cookies are officially on the menu at Outback Cookies!!!🍪💛

My cousin wanted to order cookies, but she definitely needed them to be gluten free. I am so excited and proud to say I finally found the right flour substitute that works with Great Grandma’s Sugar Cookie recipe! Thankfully, the flour was the only ingredient that needed to be swapped out.

The next adventure on a free day will be testing Gluten Free Chocolate Cookies 🍫🍪 and hopefully even more flavors using Great Grandma’s recipe. I have so many ideas I’d love to try — I just don’t know exactly when I’ll get to them all lol!

I’m beyond happy to be able to offer another option so more people can enjoy these special cookies too 💕

Today was a fun creating day in the kitchen! I made — and am currently baking — my very first batch of gluten-free cookies.

The only change I had to make was switching to gluten-free flour… and wow, that stuff is definitely not cheap! 😅 But if these turn out just as soft and delicious as my regular cookies, I may be adding a gluten-free option to the menu in the future too!

I’m excited to see how they turn out because everyone deserves a delicious cookie option. 🍪

These cookies were for a family with THREE graduates this year from THREE different schools (not siblings lol 😂), so everyone had to have their own school colors!

One is a Berrien Springs Senior who also plays baseball, so I was honored to make some Senior Night cookies for them ⚾️❤️

Each senior received 4 personalized cookies plus I made a few Thank You cookies for the Coaches & Assistants.

I absolutely LOVE being a small part of these special moments for families. Graduation season has been keeping me busy, but my heart is so full 🥹

A sweet little puppy named Ava recently spent several days at NIVES (Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency Services) fighting to get better. She was able to come home for a few days, but sadly she later crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈🐾

Hearing her story truly broke my heart. After drying my tears for Ava and her family, I poured a little extra love into making these delicious soft cookies for the amazing staff at NIVES.

I pray most of us never need emergency veterinary care, but it brings comfort knowing there are caring people like them there when our pets need help the most. Thank you for everything you do for families and their beloved fur babies. 💕

Tonight, please hug and kiss your fur babies a little tighter for Ava, her family, and the staff at NIVES. 🐾❤️
