BIG NEWS: both Cream + Flutter bakeries are being sold to new owners! For 12 years, we have given an incredible amount of heart and hustle to this business. There were a lot of people who never believed it could work, but we always believed in the power of cake and the power of community. The lovely captured it best. We know people came for the cake, but what they really found was people who cared— cared about them and about beautiful food and about meaningful experiences together. As we move on to the next chapter, we are so thankful for everyone who poured themselves into this business: family members, employees, clients, wedding partners, and our local communities. It has been our privilege to be part of your stories and to bring you the best tasting cake in the world.
The Champaign store will be open through this weekend only (our last day is Sunday, November 17), so come and get your favorite treats while you still can! The Cashiers store will be open through Saturday, November 30 so we are still here for all of your Thanksgiving needs. Feel free to call us at (828) 743-8844 to place an order. This will be your last chance to get our signature Cream + Flutter items made from scratch in our beautiful space!

A lot of people have asked what Amanda will be up to after the bakeries close. She is staying in Cashiers NC for the moment and will be focusing on her family and her construction consulting business. You can follow her helping clients build beautiful custom spaces.
