Pre-orders are up for this coming weeks bread bake.
After reading comments and messages, I have decided I will bake my bread every two weeks and see how that goes. So this Wednesday, April 8 will be my next pick up and then two weeks later. I hope this doesn’t mess people up, but there’s too much to do with gardening/yard work to do it every week.

Sourdough sandwich bread
Yeast sandwich bread
Dinner rolls
Hamburger buns

HERE's A POLL:
With summer/gardening coming up I'm going to have to change my baking schedule. Would it be easier to order once a month or every two weeks? It freezes well. I'm just not going to have the extra time to do it each week.

Some interesting information about freshly milled flour
Back in the early 1900s people went to the mill to get their flour
The grain consists of the germ and the bran; once it is milled oxidation starts and it becomes rancid within three days if not used. 
So as with many products, for convenience, they decided to start bagging it themselves to sell And the only way they could bag it and have it be safe is to take the germ and the bran out. So then you are left with a bag of flour that has nothing in it Not one nutrient.
In the 1940s people were coming down with pellagra; berry berry; and anemia. They started researching and realized it was because of the flour. So the government went to the mills and told them they had to put the germ and bran back in, but the mills were selling the germ and bran to the cattle farmers for cattle feed.
The government told them they needed to put nutrients back.
So synthetically they put back in vitamins A, C, D, and B12 
In the 1990s babies were being born with defects and they also researched it back to the flour. So again, synthetically they put folic acid back in.
This is why many people have issues with gluten intolerance.
When you eat true flour that has the germ and the bran; most people do not have gluten issues--it’s all the synthetic ingredients that they keep adding that causes the majority of the problems 
There are people with celiac disease that truly cannot have flour of any sort, but the majority of people who think they cannot eat it actually can.

*Wheat berries are high and B vitamins, vitamin E, fiber, iron, and so much more
*Many people sensitive to gluten can enjoy items made with freshly milled flour
Facts about store-bought flour:
All nutrients are synthetic, and they only added four of the 44 needed

THIS IS MY WHY

I learned about freshly milled flour in February 2025. I started listening to a podcast – Sue’s Healthy Minutes after a friend told me about Sue. I was amazed and intrigued. The more I listened and heard testimonials about people eating freshly milled flour and how their health improved, the more I knew I had to start milling my own grain.

I bought a grain mill and started milling my own grain. Not just in bread – anything you make with flour. Waffles, pancakes, brownies, cookies, cakes, muffins, gravy etc.

My own testimonial – I have always coughed/cleared my throat; A LOT! It drives me crazy! After a little over a month I realized I wasn’t clearing my throat nearly as much. I still do occasionally but way less than before. And I usually just eat one slice a day. I should add an extra slice or something else and it will probably quit entirely!

People have testimonials about lower blood pressure, cholesterol, digestion, constipation, no more gluten issues and so much more. It is truly amazing.

But this is from God. An all-natural ingredient in its true form. Just what our bodies need.

I am going to change my bake/pickup days. Growing pains!
Preordering will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Saturday and Sunday for all breads. Bake day will be Tuesdays and pickup will be Wednesdays. If you can't make it then, let me know and I can freeze your bread until you can pick it up!
This will start next week. The bake/pickup days for this week are same as already set.
