Hello everyone! It’s been quite a while. I have done a few cakes while I was on my year long maternity leave lol my pregnancy was pretty rough and I was in the new born trenches as well as our family suffering the loss of a loved one. With all that being said I am slowly starting to make my way back into cake making. The first two slides are of a cake that went out last week and the third is a cake I did for a Christmas themed baby shower!

Happy Friday everyone! I pray everyone has had a great Christmas! Here’s a cake I did a while back that I didn’t get around to posting. Anyway, I’m not sure if any of you knew, but I hurt my foot really bad recently and I’m still recovering from it. So with that being said I’m going to be taking a couple months off of making cakes just to let it fully heal. I haven’t really been letting it heal the way it needs to. If you’ve already placed an order and paid, I will still be doing your cake so no need to fret! 😊 thank you all for your patience and kindness! I will let you know as soon as I’m back!

Ok so I debated on posting this cake because literally everything that could go wrong went wrong. 😑 I made this cake a couple months ago and first of all, I messed up the sign. It wasn’t supposed to say ‘16’ but was supposed to be ‘18’. Then I had to quickly go out of town and left my hubs to deliver this cake for me and the sign broke so we ended up putting the letters on top of the cake. Anyway, I will DEFINITELY be reattempting this cake! Everything was edible on this cake and made by yours truly 😊

I loved making this cake. I had creative freedom and was only given a color scheme. I don’t get to stencil cakes often, but I love it when I get to. It adds so much detail to the cake making it seem so much more elegant. Happy birthday! 🎉
