Today, while many celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States, I ask that you also remember those we lost one year ago today in the Guadalupe River flooding.
119 people in Kerr County and 139 people across the Hill Country lost their lives. The land is healing, but the families, friends, and communities left behind still feel the impact of their loss every single day.
So today, hug your babies a little tighter, tell your family and friends you love them, and keep the families and loved ones of those who were lost in your prayers.💚
