How to make cloud bread
Ingredients 👇
3 large eggs, separated
3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened (or Greek yogurt for a tangier flavor)
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar (optional, helps stabilize the egg whites)
1 tablespoon allulose (optional, for a slightly sweet bread)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Egg Whites: In a large bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar (if using) with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
Prepare the Yolks: In a separate bowl, mix the egg yolks, cream cheese (or Greek yogurt), and allulose (if using) until smooth.
Combine: Gently fold the yolk mixture into the beaten egg whites. Be careful not to deflate the egg whites too much.
Shape: Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming round bread shapes (about 3-4 inches in diameter).
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cloud bread is golden brown.
Cool: Allow the cloud bread to cool slightly before serving.
