This weekend gave me a whole new appreciation for what it takes to be a vendor at a festival or event.
I now know how much time, preparation, physical energy, and heart goes into this. The baking, loading, unloading, setup, weather stress, long hours on your feet, customer interaction, cleanup… and then doing it all over again the next day.
But what stood out most was the community. Vendors helping each other carry things, sharing supplies, checking in throughout the day, supporting each other’s booths, and genuinely cheering each other on. Such a cool group of hardworking, creative people. ❤️
Next time you stop by a farmers market, festival, or local event — take a moment to really appreciate the vendors.
Most of them spent days preparing what you see in just a few minutes at the booth. They are small businesses, artists, bakers, makers, and families pouring everything they have into what they love. And every purchase, compliment, conversation, share, or recommendation truly matters more than you probably realize.
I left exhausted… but inspired.
