As I opened the oven, I was blasted with the amazing aroma of this jalapeño cheddar bread, and how beautiful it looked under the glow of the oven light. And I immediately started to cry.

Every cookie, loaf, bagel, cupcake or anything else I make is prayed over from start to finish. From thanking the Lord for the ability to create, praying specific prayers for the people that will be eating it, and anything in between. My heart is fully invested and God is invited into the entire process.

I am so grateful that God has blessed me with this gift and the patience that goes along with it, and sometimes that gratefulness wells up and pours out of my eyes.
