Wait wait…..another graduation set! So far, all grad orders have
been different schools/theme combos, which keeps my days interesting!
I hope they had an amazing party this past weekend, and wonderful years ahead 🎓

Bail out now, I always have too many words 🙃
May-Mid June are by far my busiest months. My graduation orders average 4doz, the largest graduation this month is 9doz. Honestly, I am not even sure how many dozens of cookies I’ve decorated so far this month 😮💨😵💫🥴
Over the last two years, especially the last 8mo, I’ve really locked in & streamlined my workflow & processes. I’ve invested in equipment and tools. I’ve subscribed to an ordering platform to keep my schedule more efficient. I’m slowing limping my way through self teaching Canva, the 3-D printer software I think I’ve finally mastered, the Eddie software is a work in progress … there are so many moving parts to cookies behind the scenes. The first 3 years, I worked multiple orders in phases due to drying time. I now work each order start to finish before moving onto the next. (The only exception are Arts & Crafts, I always do those either before dawn or after sunset, and by table lamp. No special reason, it’s my art therapy quiet time I guess 🤷♀️).
I know how many ounces to roll each bag of dough, I mix (color) & bag my icing with each order. I know how many ounces of each color I need and how many ounces I will put in each bag. I’ve really gotten my sh$t together the last 8mo 🙃
For those that don’t know, late last summer, I had decided to transform our formal dining room, into a separate dedicated cookie decorating room with commercial work tables etc. That new space really, really, took my productivity (and concentration ) to a new level. It’s amazing how my little good vibes, peaceful room, can change an entire “work” mindset.
Sorry so long winded, again. I’ve been getting several new followers recently, and I like to share little tidbits of my cookie adventure 💕
