Our family comes from St. Louis, and any of you who are local to that area will know about Gooey Butter Cake! When our family moved to Indiana, we were homesick for our city's beloved dessert staple, and all the warm memories that went with it. Home cooking, family & friends gathered around the table, stories & laughs & bonds that we were forging anew in Indianapolis. So we developed a new dessert, one that would pay homage to our roots and the still found there, but also embrace the new chapter in our lives that would also come to be filled with warmth and happiness...the Gooey Butter Cookie was born!
And now, we love shipping it out to you nation-wide, so each of you can have a piece of the Midwest in your homes and in your bellies.
