💛 Carlsbad friends — we have a family in our community that really needs us right now.

The family of one of my youngest daughter’s friends from preschool just welcomed twin baby boys who are currently in the NICU in Albuquerque. Just a few months ago their home burned down and they lost everything, and now they are preparing for their babies to come home.

If you’re able to help, they created an Amazon registry with items for the twins.

Even a small item like diapers or wipes makes a difference. Even if you can’t donate, please say a prayer for this sweet family!

*UPDATE: We just received a donation to purchase two cribs with mattresses and a rocker chair!!

A CALL TO ACTION for a Carlsbad Family!

We have a wonderful mom and dad that have twin babies at a NICU in Albuquerque. They have two children at home missing them while they are with their twins. A few months ago, their home burned down with all of their belongings.

We just sent a NICU support box to Albuquerque for them.
But they need so much more. Help us get donations for them to set them up for success when their babies can come home.

We will be collecting monetary donations to purchase needed items and physical donations. All items must be new or we won't take them, this assures safety from germs, smoke, pet dander.

🌿🤍 A Heartfelt Thank You & A New Chapter 🤍🌿

After a lot of prayer, reflection, and excitement, our family has decided it’s time to begin a new chapter and relocate back to Texas.

This community has truly meant more to me than words can express. What started as a small dream in my kitchen became something so much bigger because of you. Every order placed, every kind message sent, every time you trusted me to be part of your birthdays, weddings, holidays, and sweet everyday moments — it has all meant the world to me and my family.

With this transition, Chelsea's Cookies & Cakes will be available for purchase. My hope is that it finds a new owner who will love this community and baking just as much as I have and continue serving you with the same care and heart.

As part of this new season, we will also be listing our home and a commercial investment property for sale. It’s a big step for our family, but one we’re walking into with gratitude and excitement for what’s ahead.

DID YOU KNOW there was a time I was terrified to use fondant? 😅
It felt intimidating and way out of my comfort zone… but the second I finally got my hands on it, that fear completely disappeared.
