A friend sent me this the other day and I just wanted to share it with all of you.
And I couldn’t agree more…a shared loaf of bread signifies love, community and connection. It always makes my day when I hear folks tell me how they passed on a loaf to a friend or neighbor to get them through a difficult time. Or how they sat with dear friends and enjoyed a simple meal of soup and bread and shared laughter. When I started this business, my greatest hope was that people would enjoy a good loaf of bread that’s been baked with all the love I want to share with you and that you all could pass that on. I know it’s happening and it brings me such joy. I hope you feel a bit of the same! ❤️

Happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful weekend. We filled ours with homemade lemonade stands, going out for ice cream, pizza and movie night and lots of family time. It was just what we needed. I’m so grateful for the shift from Saturday baking to Friday-it allows me to enjoy more of these sweet family moments and it’s been wonderful!
Everyone’s favorite summer focaccia is back this week-Tomato, Basil and Mozzarella! My garden is absolutely bursting with tomatoes right now and this focaccia was begging to be on the menu at least one more time before the season is over. We also are featuring one of my favorites, Sourdough Olive Boule. It’s so flavorful just on its own, but it is an excellent accompaniment to your big summer salads or whatever you’re throwing on the grill.
Breads will be available at Market on Market Tuesday from 3-7. Fresh loaves will be at People's Provisions on Wednesday and Friday and at Helena's Chocolate Cafe & Creperie on Friday morning. And, as always, you can order for Carlisle pickup or free Borough delivery on Friday afternoon.

Happy Friday! It was a marathon baking session this morning, but we’re finally finishing up! Breads have already been delivered to Helena's Chocolate Cafe & Creperie and will be at People's Provisions by noon. Breads for pick up will be in the cabinet by about 1130 and delivery will start once we get back over the mountain around 12:30.
We do have a few extra loaves today...

- 2 Sourdough Einkorn, Oat and Honey
-1 Apple, Rhubarb and Herb Focaccia

Happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weekend. In our house we’ve been trying to soak up as much of this perfect late-summer weather as we can so we spent lots of time outside playing, gardening, and grilling. I also spent some time making fresh batches of pesto with all of the extra basil and kale I have right now. So that means the return of the Pesto & Parmesan Sourdough loaf! I’ve had a few requests for this and wanted to make sure I got it on the menu again while the basil is still growing! We also have a new focaccia this week-Apple, Rhubarb & Fresh Herb. tuckeysorchard still had some fresh rhubarb last week and I couldn’t resist fitting it into a bake for the end of summer. The rhubarb gets combined with local apples from Three Springs Fruit Farm and fresh herbs from Chicano Sol and even gets a drizzle of honey from Honey In The Hollow Bee Farm LLC. I think it’s a really delightful focaccia-perfect for your brunch menu or alongside some grilled chicken for your dinner.
Breads will be available at Market on Market Tuesday in Camp Hill from 3-7. They will be delivered fresh to People's Provisions on Wednesday and Friday and to Helena's Chocolate Cafe & Creperie on Friday morning. You can also order for local pickup or free Carlisle borough delivery on Friday afternoon. If you’re ordering for Friday, please have your orders in by 9am on Thursday to ensure proper planning and fermentation.

When you find stale bread that the kids shoved behind the knife block, you turn it into some cheaters croutons (just double toast them and drench them in olive oil) and make my favorite breakfast!

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. We spent ours frantically picking up the last minute school supplies and prepping breads and snacks for the first day of school this week 😱Summer seriously flew by!
Even though the kids are heading back to school, there is still a good bit of summer left and tons of fresh produce ready to be used in all of our August bakes.
This week we have a Sweet Corn, Chive and Goat Cheese Focaccia with sweet corn from Dickinson College Farm. It’s such a treat and tastes like summer in every bite. Blueberry Lemon Scones are back for another round. And our specialty sourdough loaf this week is Roasted Garlic and Herb. This loaf makes a mighty tasty grilled cheese with tomato!
Breads will be at Market on Market Tuesday from 3-7. Breads will be delivered fresh to People's Provisions on Wednesday and Friday and Helena's Chocolate Cafe & Creperie on Friday as well. Happy Friday! In a very rare moment, the breads are ready to go ahead of schedule! If you ordered for pick up, your bag is currently in the orange cabinet just waiting for you! Breads have already been delivered to Helena's Chocolate Cafe & Creperie and are heading out to People's Provisions in the ne y few minutes. Carlisle Borough delivery will start once we’re back down the mountain!
We do have 1 extra loaf of Rustic Sourdough if anyone missed the order window yesterday!
