I absolutely love making these mini sourdough loaves…partly because they’re just adorable but mostly because I know they are headed to People's Provisions as part of their work with the West Perry Backpack program. This program works with students in West Perry middle and high school to get nutritious foods into the hands of families facing food insecurity. Happy Monday! We are excited to have a really tasty lineup of breads bursting with fall produce this week. We’re featuring local pears from Three Springs Fruit Farm in our Pear, Chèvre & Honey Focaccia as well as delicious apples from tuckeysorchard in our Harvest Apple Scones this week. The same apples are, of course, also baked into our fall favorite Apple Cranberry loaf. The specialty loaf this week is Sourdough Jalapeño Cheddar. I’ve had quite a few inquiries about this loaf so I’m pleased to get it back on the menu!
You can find us at Market on Market on Tuesday from 3-7. Fresh breads will be at People's Provisions on Wednesday and Friday with a *bonus pop-up* on Saturday from 9-12 featuring lots of sweet, apples inspired treats for the shop’s Apple tasting. Breads will be delivered to Helena's Chocolate Cafe & Creperie on Friday morning. And you can order for Carlisle Borough delivery or pickup on Friday.

It’s Market on Market day! We’ve got a great lineup up cozy fall bakes today, including plenty of Sourdough Double Fudge Brownies, warm and tasty Golden Milk Latte Scones and plenty of my personal favorite, Sourdough Date and Pecan. Be sure to stop by today between 3-7!

Happy Monday! Breads are back this week and I’m so happy to be baking for everyone again. This week’s menu is really showing off the cozy fall flavors. We have our Sourdough Date and Pecan just waiting to be toasted and buttered with your morning coffee. The focaccia is Smashed Potato, Gruyere & Rosemary (still going strong in the garden) and our scone is Golden Milk Latte. If you’ve never had a golden milk latte you are in for a real treat-it’s a warm and comforting with flavors of fresh ginger, turmeric, cinnamon and nutmeg. It’s a real treat (my kids went crazy for them!)
Breads will be at Market on Market in Camp Hill tomorrow from 3-7. Fresh breads will be delivered to People's Provisions Wednesday and Friday. They will be at Helena's Chocolate Cafe & Creperie on Friday morning. And breads can be ordered for Carlisle pickup or free delivery within Carlisle Borough.

An unexpected week off meant I had the time to personally drive out to benterryfarm in Newburg to pick up my latest batch of Organic Einkorn flour. I particularly love that beautiful drive, but it’s made even more meaningful when I get to chat with Ben, who grows and mills the einkorn there on his lovely farm. Making those personal connections and knowing exactly where my bread ingredients come from makes such a difference…and I think it makes the Sourdough Einkorn loaf extra delicious!

Happy Monday and a quick update…
There will be no bread sales this week. We are finally getting some last minute work done to the walls in the bakery. This is great for the long term, but construction/paint debris is not conducive to baking bread. I apologize for the late notice (the contractor was also very last minute!)
We will be back to our regular schedule next week!

Happy Friday! The breads are all cooling down and getting ready to be bagged up. Fresh loaves have already been delivered to Helena's Chocolate Cafe & Creperie and will be at People's Provisions around noon. Delivery will start shortly after. If you ordered for pickup, your order will be in the orange cabinet by 11:30am.
I have a few extras if you need anything last minute for the weekend…

1 6 pack of Buttermilk Buns (these prefer a special order and we’re not on the meeting this week, so make sure to grab them fast!)

Happy Monday! It’s the last official week of summer and I spent a lot of time in my garden over the weekend. While it may not look very pretty right now, I’m still able to harvest lots of peppers and plenty of tomatoes. I decided to make one more end of summer sourdough loaf that showcases all of the garden flavors that are still going strong right now…it’s a Tomato, Mozzarella & Basil Sourdough Loaf. It is moist, flavorful and delicious just on its own (though I like mine eaten with a big bowl of tomato soup!) I haven’t tried this yet, but I suspect it would also make a killer grilled cheese (if you try this, let me know!)
I was gifted some more zucchini from a neighbor’s garden so my kids suggested one more round of Chocolate Chip Zucchini Scones. And I found some beautiful red and golden beets tuckeysorchard so I knew it must be time to make one of my favorite focaccia flavors-Roasted Beet, Goat Cheese & Honey. If you haven’t tried this one yet, I highly recommend it!
Breads will be available at Market on Market Tuesday from 3-7. They will be delivered fresh to People's Provisions on Wednesday and Friday. They will be at 's Chocolate Cafe & Creperie on Friday morning. And, as always, breads are available for Carlisle pickup and free borough delivery on Friday afternoon.
