Socials Cafe & Coffeehouse Socials Cafe Socials Cafe & Catering was established on April 19, 2007; in historic downtown Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Priest and Allen Findley.

It all began out of a dream of the founders Albert J. Together they have a combined food service work expereince of 21 years of everything from fast food to casual dining. Albert worked at Apple Bees for ten years as a coroporate trainer in all ascepts of the restaurant. Allen went to Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Scottsdale Az where he worked at as Pastry Chef at a local market and ended up sp

ecialized in allergy baking and personal meal plans for special needs clients. In fall of 2006, Albert's family sold their business and Allen moved back to Southeast Missouri to help care of his great grandmother. After talking and both needing a job they decided and saw the need for locally owned sandwich shop/coffee house making it an all around cafe that serves food that is made fresh and with love. Socials offers a various array of sandwiches, soups, and salads. All the ingredients are fresh from the market daily. You won't find those boil in the bag or prepackaged soups here. Great strides are taken to make sure we receive the best quality ingredients to serve. Albert hand cuts all the meats and cheeses daily as Allen isn't allowed to touch power tools. All the sandwiches are prepared to order and on freshly baked bread. So remember a sandwich from Socials is made to order and fresh everytime. We pride ourselves on fresh local products. We believe that its important to spend your money in the community it only helps the community. You might see us out at the farmer's markets or sometimes catch Allen at a food stand on the side of the road with his mom. Be sure to say 'Hi' we won't bite.

We are still needing the order for blueberry muffin wedding cake to give us a call…we have tried all month and I’m at a loss. If we don’t hear anything back it won’t get made.

We have a raccoon that has moved into our courtyard…. Does anyone know who to call that could come trap him and let him go free in the woods? downtown can’t be ideal for him.
