With Veterans Day approaching, I wanted to do something personal.

I’m starting with one of my own photos in the comments.

❤️ PUNTA GORDA — THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE YESTERDAY!

Yesterday was an incredible day at Steph’s, and we owe many of you a very special THANK YOU.

We were BUSY — really busy — and at times that meant some of our guests experienced longer-than-normal waits for their orders.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and most importantly, for continuing to support our team while they worked incredibly hard to take care of everyone.

And what a day it was!

🏃 The Run Club
☕ And throughout it all, our bakery was filled with customers, families, friends, and many new faces,

We served over 300 guests.

At one point, we looked around and realized just how much was happening under one roof.

A bakery. A coffee shop. A classroom. A meeting place. A community gathering spot.

That is exactly what we hoped Steph’s could become.

We also know that growing comes with responsibility. When you choose to spend your time and money with us, you deserve great food, great service, and an experience worth coming back for. Yesterday showed us a few areas where we can continue improving as we prepare for the busy season ahead.

So to everyone who waited a little longer for a sandwich, coffee, croissant, or meal yesterday — thank you for giving us a little grace. ❤️

Stop by the bakery today and let us treat you to a coffee or standard latte! It’s the least we can do for your patience and support!

And to everyone who attended an event, supported the Animal Welfare League, ran with the Run Club, brought a friend, tried us for the first time, or simply stopped in to say hello…

Unfortunately, we had an incident at Steph’s Bakery & More involving one of the decorative pots in our bakery.

Our security video shows the individual pictured here taking the pot from the property and leaving with it.

We would simply like to have our property returned.

If you recognize this individual or have information that may help us identify her, please send us a PRIVATE MESSAGE. Please do not post anyone’s personal information in the comments.

If you are the person pictured, you are welcome to return the pot to Steph’s — no public confrontation is necessary. If you choose to not return the item the authorities will be called.

We work very hard to make Steph’s a welcoming and beautiful place for our community, and it’s disappointing when something like this happens.
