Born in Chicago and raised in Southern Florida I learned to appreciate good tasting food. From fabulous Chicago pizza to the freshest catch of the day from the sea I passed my "foodie-love" on to my daughter, Paige Madison at a very young age. She began creating her own menu of delicious items and could whip up a fantastic meal for 2 at 11 years old. I remember her asking me about flavor combinati
ons and sharing her love of experimenting with unexpected spices, fruit juices and ethnic foods. My heart soared that we shared this kitchen treasure hunt for the best tasting..well, everything. One day, bored during spring break, Paige asked me about baking a cheesecake (she quickly grew an affinity for baking) and of course I asked her, "What kind?" She sort of looked at me like I just opened up a new world to her. We made several that day, including our delightfully tasty "Easter Basket Cheesecake" Minis for the upcoming holiday.
