The baby buns are starting to venture out, we’re coming out of week 3 and into week 4 on Saturday - few more weeks til they’re separated from Mom.

Today I’ll be adding a fan to make sure the air is moving in the run and giving them frozen bottles throughout the day to keep Cinnamon and Skeeter cool.

Everyone’s been fed, water topped off and let out for the day. There’s potential for rain later today so I’ll be waiting to see how that pans out before watering.

Otherwise it’s time to get this harvest put up.
Tomatoes. - pizza sauce
Bell Peppers. - likely some for the freezer and most to the dehydrator
Hot peppers. - HOT SAUCE 🙌🏻 my fermentation lids should be here tomorrow.
Squash. - shredded zucchini for the freezer for bread on demand even in the winter, diced yellow to add to this or that.

It’s going to be a busy Tuesday.

Got some time spent picking in the garden today. What a great harvest.

6 crookneck yellow squash
3 zucchini
1 carrot
2 buttercup squash
12 bell peppers
11 cucumbers
12.6oz green beans
A pint of jalapeño
A pint of Hungarian hot
A handful of Habanero
8lbs of tomatoes

I suppose I need to grab the electric mill tonight and get my pizza sauce done. Here’s to 24lbs of tomatoes turned to sauce tonight, and finished up tomorrow.

Things will be quiet from us this weekend as today we celebrate 11 years of being married.

Just like any normal day there’s chores to do and animals to take care of, I’m sure the garden needs picking too.

Off to do some work and spend time with the family after all it’s 11 years old now. Have a great day everyone.

Oven has been off for 15minutes, it’s 1230am.

If you placed an order I’ll have your items marked and at the stand in the morning before we head off to our popup. Then it’s back to the garden to see how much I can get into jars. I’ve got 500+ jars to fill.
