SHOPRITE UPDATE 💙
We wanted to share a little update because our last post got a lot more attention than we anticipated!
Chuck from ShopRite has been wonderful about working with us to find a way to keep Mama Blue in the store. Rather than stocking such a large quantity at once, he suggested we scale it back to a smaller display and continue testing what works.
That means a lot to a small business like ours.
Chuck from Shop Rite has been supportive of Blue House from the beginning, and gave us an opportunity no one else has and we absolutely don’t want anyone thinking otherwise. Retail is new territory for us, and sometimes things need to be adjusted along the way.
So we’re downsizing the display there, as we are learning and evolving. So we will be there but on a smaller scale! Yay!
Chuck is even open to working with us on bringing our frozen Blue House sourdough bagels to ShopRite in the future.
Thank you to Shop Rite in Canton, for supporting a local small business and being willing to work through the growing pains with us.
And thank YOU to everyone who showed up to support Mama Blue. We definitely felt the love. Wow! ❤️ thank you everyone!!!

About a month ago, we were given an opportunity to test our Mama Blue sourdough starter at ShopRite in Canton. We had a short window to prove that the product could sell successfully in a grocery-store setting.
Unfortunately, we didn’t sell enough during the trial to make the placement viable. (We will revisit it on a smaller scale)!
