Walnut Tree Baking Co. Walnut Tree Baking Co. is a cottage bakery located in Canton, Illinois. We make small batch, hand crafted baked goods.

Walnut Tree Baking Company isn't your typical bakery. We don't have a retail location, where you can come and browse a case full of pastries. We are a small, cottage bakery that creates baking "events" at different times throughout the year (around most holidays) and sells a specially curated assortment of goodies for a limited time. We also offer a weekly special that can be ordered by 8pm each T

hursday for Saturday pickup. (We do have a great pickup location) or limited delivery spots are available in Canton and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot ship items. Custom orders are available, just contact us and we can talk about what you're looking for and if we can help. (Some special orders require a minimum order of 3 dozen).

Do you know how much butter goes in 1 pan of our Espresso Brownies? This much! You can celebrate all things butter tomorrow morning at the VERY FIRST FARMER’S MARKET OF THE SEASON!!! We will have those yummy Espresso Brownies, Brown Sugar Oatmeal Lemon Bars, Rhubarb Spoon Cake, White Chocolate Raspberry Scones, Lemon Lavender Scones , Cinnamon Rolls, Jalapeño Cheddar Scone Bites, English Muffins, Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls and a few loaves of Rhubarb Pecan Bread!

Something fun for the kids during the Farmer’s Market this weekend!

Join us in the Plaza for a magical morning of stories, smiles, and summer fun at Storytime in the Plaza! Families are invited to gather in the beautiful downtown plaza every other Saturday at 10:00am for children’s books, interactive reading, and a chance for little ones to enjoy the outdoors with friends.

This Week: FARMERS! 🚜

Listen to a story about farming and A Tractor’s Day, then meet Farmer Randolph and see, touch, and explore a real tractor during a special touch-a-truck experience in the plaza. Apex Seed Company LLC will also bring their Seed Truck.

The first 40 kids will receive a FREE copy of the featured book to take home, thanks to our Storytime sponsor this week: Canton Elks Lodge 626.
