Walnut Tree Baking Co. Walnut Tree Baking Co. is a cottage bakery located in Canton, Illinois. We make small batch, hand crafted baked goods.

Walnut Tree Baking Company isn't your typical bakery. We don't have a retail location, where you can come and browse a case full of pastries. We are a small, cottage bakery that creates baking "events" at different times throughout the year (around most holidays) and sells a specially curated assortment of goodies for a limited time. We also offer a weekly special that can be ordered by 8pm each Thursday for Saturday pickup. (We do have a great pickup location) or limited delivery spots are available in Canton and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot ship items. Custom orders are available, just contact us and we can talk about what you're looking for and if we can help. (Some special orders require a minimum order of 3 dozen).

Just a reminder that we are off this weekend! It’ll be a beautiful weekend to get out and explore all the stops on the Spoon River Scenic Drive! We’ll be open in the shop on West Locust on Saturday, October 10 at 8am!

This week’s reminder that we won’t be at the final Canton Main Street Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning, but we will be at the final concert of the season selling your favorite cheesecakes!

We’re wrapping up the Live at the Plaza season with a night of incredible live music on September 26!

Join us at the Opera House Plaza in downtown Canton for Six One Five Collective, a Nashville-based group bringing the spirit of The Highwaymen and Little Big Town to the stage. With a talented lineup of musicians and a mix of original music, harmonies, and classic influences, this is a show you won’t want to miss.

Opening the evening will be Lowe profile featuring Cheyenne Medders.

Saturday, September 26th
Concert begins at 7:00 PM
Seating area opens at 6:00 PM
Opera House Plaza, 45 Eastside Square, Canton

As always, the concert is FREE thanks to our amazing sponsors. Bring your lawn chair or blanket, grab some food and a drink from our local vendors, and enjoy a night of live music under the stars right here in downtown Canton.

The breakfast that every Friday should start with! Now come see me this morning at 11am in the parking lot at Graham Hospital for some sweet treats and grab some lunch from Hibbett’s Food Truck. Oh and there are some beautiful mums for Fall as well! See you soon!
