Facts in discontinuing Facebook; critical that you go to the ? mark, upper right hand of each home screen, type in how to delete account, click on permanently delete and use the "save your data" link, select same, create desktop folder and save data for each Facebook account. Why, knowing what they have stored is important for you to know and if there is a future civil lawsuit you can prove what you offered and it can be used to define how it was used. #2, it takes 90 days for deletion, which means they have that time to market your information (be assured they will do same, it is one of their last times to make $ off of your data. #3, the time consuming part, deletion of associated applications on your computer/s, tablet/s, phones; everyone is different, you will need to identify all potential apps which can be back doors to your Facebook profiles, data, my guess, they will always keep your data and other apps can request same. The deeper you dig into Facebook the more you will realize the depth and deception, which has been sold as social media and those outside Facebook will continue to use your past data, be cautious in online messages which are emotional, influential or political, odds are they are from Facebook selling your private information.
