This is one of my favorite designs to make. I’ve made several whiskey barrels over the years, I think this one might be my favorite 🤩
I wish I had made a time lapse from stacking and base icing to carving and covering with fondant and then adding the airbrush color and final details. Next time I will try and film for you guys!

2022….
Well, that was quick!
Who else feels like time literally goes by faster than it used to? Just me?!?!

I’ve been pretty quiet on here the last few days. We had 4 Christmas gatherings and family that stayed with us for the holiday. We’ve all just been soaking up some family time and celebrating Christmas. It’s been an incredible couple weeks.

I’ve been reflecting a lot on this past year. I’m gonna let my guard down and just be real with y’all for a bit, is that ok? I even posted a pic of myself, which I never do… if you know me, ya know 😂

This past year was hard. Probably the hardest year since I started CbC in 2011.
We are a super close, hard-working team. After making it through the whole pandemic craze of 2020 and 2021 we had no idea the struggles that 2022 would bring.

We lost a brother, a mother, and two father-in-laws. Our hearts and spirits were crushed, but one thing is for sure, God put specific people together for times such as these. The love, encouragement and support of our team has kept us going. We have grown stronger and closer and learned to lean on the Lord together.

We’ve battled against grief, inflation, rising supply costs, slow sales days, and broken supply chains. It’s been difficult to say the least. I mean have you seen the cost of butter and eggs 😢 I know you have, and you have felt it too.

But throughout all these difficult months, you guys have been there for us, our ever-faithful clients, customers and friends. Shopping with us, ordering from us, door-dashing from us, and choosing us to help you celebrate. And for that we are so very grateful. We had a fantastic Christmas season.
The words ‘Thank you’ just simply do not feel sufficient to express our gratitude.

Despite the struggles of 2022, tons positive things are in the works!! Woohoo!!!

We have revamped our product offerings, and created a signature line of cake designs on our website. This will help to streamline the ordering process, making it easier and faster for customers to order a cake, and allowing us to have more availability.
We have restructured our team and job roles, and grown our crew to the largest it’s ever been! Adding some amazing personalities and strengths to our growing team.

We’ve learned a lot more about ourselves and our craft! And we are pumped to see what 2023 has in store for CbC!!!
Thank you again for being there for us as we continue to grow and navigate the current business climate. We hope you all have a very blessed 2023!

Here's a look at our store hours for next week's holiday!!! Can ya'll believe its already here?!?!?! Raise your hand if you feel like it should only be Thanksgiving, lol!

We will have regular busines hours next week, except on Saturday, Dec 24 we will be open for PICKUPS ONLY from 10am-12pm.

Starting Dec 25 we will be closed for our annual Christmas break to rest and recharge! We will reopen on Tuesday Jan 3rd, 2023.

There is still time to place an order for Christmas Pickup! Call us tomorrow to get your order in before it's too late!
