Every now and then, I sell my cookies and receive a text message that reminds me exactly why I do this.

Now that baking has become my full-time job, I love being able to create something that brings joy to other people. I love seeing the smiles, reading the messages, and knowing that something I made from scratch made someone’s day a little sweeter.

Sometimes I don’t give myself enough credit for what I create, but those customer messages remind me how much my work means to others. The kind words, photos, reviews, and excitement you share after taking that first bite truly mean more than you know.

Woke up this morning and got right to baking my custom order! I had been waiting on a few ingredients, and they finally arrived yesterday, so today was baking day.

Fresh out of the oven: my Pistachio Silk Chocolate Cookie — inspired by the famous Dubai chocolate flavors everyone is talking about. This rich chocolate cookie is stuffed with a homemade pistachio kunafa, then drizzled with milk chocolate. To finish it off, it’s topped with crushed pistachios and a touch of gold sugar sprinkles for a little extra luxury.

Every cookie is made from scratch with care, and that homemade pistachio kunafa takes these cookies to the next level. 💚🍪

Being an Instacart shopper isn’t always easy. Sometimes you’re shopping for multiple items that look exactly alike, and all it takes is one quick scan for a simple mistake to happen.

Today, I ordered two of the same item, but one ended up being the wrong one. Instead of getting upset, I sent my shopper a quick message letting him know. I told him I completely understood because I’m an Instacart shopper too, and I know firsthand how easily mistakes can happen.

His response was immediate: he apologized, offered to go back to the store, and brought me the correct item. All I had to do was leave the wrong one outside.

As a baker, I couldn’t let that kindness and effort go unnoticed. So when he came back, he left with some cookies.

Sometimes people make mistakes. Sometimes people have hard days. And sometimes the best thing we can do is offer a little grace instead of frustration.

A little kindness goes a long way, and today was a good reminder that we’re all human, just doing our best.

While waiting for cookie ingredients to arrive and getting another cookie order together, I found myself craving Rice Krispie treats. But instead of making the traditional treats, I decided to turn that craving into a cookie.

Let me just say… this Rice Krispie Cookie did NOT disappoint! It’s soft, chewy, packed with flavor, and has that nostalgic Rice Krispie treat goodness in every bite.

And just maybe… just maybe… I might share a few with some of my favorite people when I see them on Friday. No promises, though. 😏🍪
