For a moment, a day or a lifetime. As an interest, a hobby, a passion and/or career. Doing what you love *is* an act of resistance.
As we see the world around us break, and systems made to oppress - to turn creative beings (humans) into cogs to serve a world that doesn’t serve us in return - it is clear that we *need* to return to acting with intention, thought and care. We need to be in community, nourish, feed and support each other. We must speak up and out against injustice. We *must* find joy (even little glimmers). And then find some more. And some more.
Doing what you love (and helping others do the same) is an act of resistance.
We cannot solve the worlds’ problems with the systems that created them in the first place. So, pick up that paint brush, get your hands in some dough, tend that neglected garden, read that book, learn or play that instrument, sing that song, visit that neighbor - do it, and do it again, and with intention and with no.other.reason than because it *feels* good.

And by the way, I’m saying all this to myself as much as to you.
