The Round House at Pompanuck Farm The Round House was designed and built for sharing with the community. Walk the grounds and visit Pumpkin Hook, the little creek that gave our farm its name.

Welcome to the Round House at Pompanuck Farm, a place for family, community and private gatherings or individual retreats, located in the hills of White Creek, NY between Cambridge, NY and Bennington, VT. People enjoy experiencing the round cordwood structure with the curved open spaces of the great room, community kitchen and dining areas and the cozy, peaceful, privacy of the bedrooms. Over the

years we’ve hosted concerts, workshops, fund raisers, meals, meetings, children’s programs and celebrations. We invite you to attend one of our ongoing events or offerings, to rent the Round House for your group or to visit “The Little Store” for our homemade pizzas, soups, pastas and gifts. Pompanuck, the Native American place name, became Pumpkin Hook so named by early Dutch settlers. It is an apt description of this peaceful, verdant, nook, nestled into the hills above the Cambridge Valley.
