Due to family allergies and sensitivities this pie needed to be gluten free, dairy free, and tapioca starch free (itโ€™s an ingredient in a lot of gluten free all purpose flours). Cassava Flour to the rescue! Itโ€™s my go to for gluten and grain free bakingโค๏ธ Of course itโ€™s also peanut and tree nut free too. โฃโฃ

A sweet Mama reached out needing not one, but two gluten free, dairy free cakes for both her daughterโ€™s birthdays (1 day apart). โฃ

The first is for her oldest daughter turning 7! She wanted chocolate, strawberries, pink, and flowers๐Ÿ’• We went with a strawberry vanilla cake, filled with strawberry preserves, and frosted with vegan chocolate buttercream. I added some fun, naturally colored sprinkles from and gorgeous flowers from my favorite flower shop owned by my dear friends โฃ

The second cake is an adorable Smash Cake for her daughterโ€™s first birthday photo shoot! This one is vanilla cake filled and frosted with vegan vanilla bean buttercream and of course more sweet pink flowers and seeded eucalyptusโœจโฃ
