Some new art has landed — both in the kitchen and pantry, and I hope to add more soon!

In the meantime, I am busy finishing up the final touches for a summer feature wall (i.e. in the loft at Camano Commons Marketplace). The new art display will be launched this upcoming weekend, so it will be a great time to stop in and see what all is new!🌊🛳️

Hi friend. Yes, you. In need of a tea or coffee break? A moment to take a breath? Me too. Pull up a chair. I’m here. Let’s chat.

How has life been? Good? Hard? Average? All of the above? Me too.

Today is Mother’s Day; which can be a wonderful day for so many…and also a really hard day for some of us too. Perhaps it can be both at the same time??? I don’t know about you, but I’m trying to learn how to live more gracefully in the “in-betweens”; those places where goodness and grief link arms for a moment. Between you and me, I genuinely feel like I’m failing wildly at the whole thing. *insert laughter here* All that said to say: are you in need of grace today? Let’s walk into it together…even if for just a moment. The laundry can wait. The kids, they’ll be fine for a few more minutes. The lists, the shoulds, the text messages and emails or whatever else keeps us all too busy. They can wait.

How are YOU today? Honestly. I want to know! Is today your day to kick back and recharge? I hope so! Even if it’s just for these few moments together, you’re worth the pause. You’re worth a heart hug. And if you don’t feel worth that today…that’s okay too. Life tends to hand us a lot. We’re worth the good stuff anyway. (Including that second cup of coffee or cookie.) Just saying. ;)

Anyway, whether you’re hearing it from everyone today or just me: Happy Mother’s Day. Happy “you’re here and beautiful and alive” Day. That’s my wish for you, friend—a moment of genuine happy. Soooo needed, right? 🙂

Here is the planned menu for this Saturday’s Treat Day ! The pantry will be fully stocked in preparation for all your gift-giving, and I’ll be on hand from 10am-4pm to welcome you in!

Hi all! Hope you’ve been having a lovely week wherever this finds you!🤍

Here, this season has been focused on rest, healing, letting go, relearning how to cherish what is in front of me and making room for fresh hopes. In other words: not easy…but a place from which new growth can thrive. The biggest changes in life often come from challenging and quiet seasons—seasons where our lives are pulled back in preparation for something more. For me, the best creativity tends to come from these times as well.

That being said, I’ve started on a new series of coastal inspired work for this summer and am getting excited to share it with you all! 🌊🦀⚓️

In the meantime, Mother’s Day will be here before you know it, and I’m already preparing for a special Treat Day on Saturday, May 9th! I’ll be there with cookies, cake, gift-boxed royal iced cookies & more…all ready for the lovely women in your life that give so much.
