(I’ve been trying to make this post all day…it’s been BUSY).

It’s our last day, and whew… we are getting this spread together! 🥹❤️

We’ve got all the cupcake flavors, cinnamon rolls, brownies, cookies, cake… and yes, chicken salad and pasta salad too. And of course, we could NEVER forget the ice cream. 😂🍦

We’re just so grateful for all the love you all have shown us. Come see us, grab something good, and help us make this last day a sweet one. ❤️

We have two more days in our Downtown Calera storefront, and we’ve got plenty of sweets ready for you! Come grab a treat and say hi…We’d really love to see you. 🥰

And no worries…we’re still taking orders through our website and by phone. This is just the beginning of a new chapter for us, and we’re looking forward to what’s next. ❤️

A New Chapter for Creations Galore and Moore❤️

Whew…this is probably one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write.

After six years of calling Downtown Calera home, Saturday, August 29th will be our final day serving customers from our current storefront.

Because you’ve supported us so faithfully, I wanted you to hear directly from me what led to this decision.

Our building was recently sold, and the new owners offered us a month-to-month lease, along with changes to the parking and access our business has relied on.

I would have loved to stay.❤️

But after pouring so much into this location, I couldn’t continue investing without the long-term stability our business needs. As hard as this decision has been, I have to do what I believe is best for the future of Creations Galore and Moore.

Now, let me make one thing VERY clear:

WE ARE NOT CLOSING!🎂❤️

We’re still taking orders through our website, all existing orders will be fulfilled, and YES…the ice cream cart is coming with us! 🍦😂

As for what’s next? I honestly don’t know just yet, and I’m giving myself permission to be okay with that. Everything happened so quickly that I want to take my time and make the right decision rather than rush into another location.

What I’ll miss most are…you all.

Over these six years, so many of you have become more than customers…you’ve become family. ❤️

We’re still here. We’re still baking. And we’re still celebrating with you.

This isn’t goodbye…it’s just time to turn the page. ❤️

This has been such a hard day. Today, we laid my beautiful Aunt Cheryl to rest, and this one has hit me incredibly hard. 💔

I’m going to miss her more than I can put into words. I always looked forward to her visits, and somehow, every time she came to town, she’d find her way into the bakery ready to “work.” 😂🩷 Those are memories I’ll hold onto forever.

She definitely took a piece of my heart with her.

And somewhere in the middle of traveling back and forth to Louisiana, trying to be present for my family and saying goodbye, I even managed to have a customer’s order scheduled for the wrong date. In all my years of doing this, I’ve never missed an order, and knowing that someone was counting on me and I let them down has absolutely devastated me.

Today has just been…a lot.

I know life doesn’t stop when our hearts are hurting, but sometimes we’re reminded that we’re human and can only carry so much at once.

So tonight, I’m giving myself a little grace. I’m going to miss you, Aunt Cheryl. Your visits, your laugh, your personality, and seeing you walk through those bakery doors ready to help. I’m so grateful for every memory. 🩷

Rest beautifully, Aunt Cheryl. I love you. 🕊️
