Shaping, scoring, and baking. The parts of this process I could do a thousand times and still love.

This batch is heading out to customers today. There's nothing quite like pulling these out of the oven.

Prep days looks a little different these days. Less quiet kitchen, more little hands wanting to be close while I work. I wouldn’t trade it.

Some things take longer with two girls underfoot, but the dough still comes together every time. Baking small batches daily works best for this season. Grateful I get to do this. Both the baking and the being here for them. Thank you for you being part of this.

How ordering works 📅

Every Saturday at 8am, preorders open for the following week’s available baking days (circled on the calendar). You can place your order anytime that week. Just make sure it’s in by 6pm, 2 days before your pickup day.

Example: want bread on Thursday? Order by Tuesday at 6pm!

📌 Note: I’ll be out of town the week of September 13th, so there won’t be any orders or baking that week. Will be back to normal the following Saturday!

Hi everyone! It’s been a minute, if you’ve been wondering where Heritage Hearth Bakery went, I had my daughter back in December and took some time to be with her and adjust to the new family dynamic.

We also had some uncertainty about whether we’d be staying in Idaho, but it’s official! We’re staying in Boise for at least 2 more years! 🎉

So I’m beyond excited to say I’m back in the kitchen and taking orders again. Everything’s still naturally leavened, still using high quality ingredients, and made the same way you know and love.

And here’s something new: for the month of September, orders now only need 2 days notice instead of waiting for the weekend to grab fresh bread. You can preorder for any day of the week.
